Deuces Wild is a video poker game played with a standard 52-card deck. The main feature of the game is deuces (2s) which stand for wild cards. Three of a kind becomes the lowest card combination for payout. You will not get paid in the case of a pair or two pair hand. You're going to be hitting Full Houses and Flushes more often because of the wild cards. Deuces Wild makes it possible to have Five of a Kind. But a hand of four deuces will pay out more.
Deuces Wild Video Poker Tips
Deuce is the only single card you can hold. Get rid of a single card, which is an ace or any other high card. It will not help you as there is no such a winning hand as a high card. Never discard a deuce. It can and will be done if you're not paying attention. Only if there is a chance of receiving a natural royal you can do it. You will never hold only one other card with a single deuce. There is no point in keeping any other ‘high’ card with a deuce. Never hold two pair. You must discard one pair (it doesn't matter which) and draw three. As a rule, you don't want to play a machine that has less than a five-for-one payout on four of a kind.
