The game of Poker is played with a 52-card deck. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. After you make the first minimum bet, five cards are dealt at first, face down, to each player. After the first deal players have to make bets. To stay into the game every player has to call. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. All the cards can be kept and all the cards can be thrown away. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
