Poker Hand: Classic Draw Poker Raise

Classic Draw Poker Raise

One of the new video poker variations is Pick’em Poker. What's interesting about the game is that it has more in common with stud poker than draw poker, and it has a potentially tremendous payout percentage - 99.95 percent if played with perfect strategy. Unlike other video poker games in Pick'em Poker you will be dealt 8 cards. Two of the cards are face up on the left, and then there are two stacks of three cards each on the right. The top cards of the two right-handed stacks are up, so you can see a total of four cards after the deal. You have no option to throw away the two cards on the left. You have to hold them till the end of the game. But you have to decide which of the right sets of cards you want to hold. When you select which stack you want to keep, the two cards dealt underneath the face up card are exposed, and your hand is made from the two cards on the left plus the three cards in the stack you kept. So basically, in Pick'em Poker, you're choosing one of two three card hands every round. Two cards on the left and a stack of three cards you have left on the right form a hand.
