In most poker variations the combination of five highest-ranking cards form a winning hand, but in some poker games the strongest hands are different. In a High/Low Poker game, two players have the opportunity to win and split the pot. Both the player with the highest hand and the player with the lowest hand are winners. All bets made by all players go in a pile of chips in the center of the table, called the pot. If you don’t want to meet the highest bet by some other player you can’t compete for the pot. Because of this rule, players are able to bluff and win the pot. The object of the game is to win the pot. A player can win the pot in one of the two ways. When all the bets are made by the players, they show down their cards. The winner is the player with the strongest hand. If one of the players make a bet, which is not met by other players, he wins the pot without showing his cards. All cards of the 52 card deck are used. The cards are dealt one at a time, clockwise motion (number of cards varies with game). Aces are high, but aces rank low in the sequence A-2-3-4-5.
