Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. You have to read the table with the minimum and maximum bets before you play Poker. You can find this table next to the dealer. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. To stay into the game every player has to call. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. The cards which were thrown away will be replaced with the same number of cards. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.
