A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. There are a lot of skilled and experienced poker players, but when it concerns the deal of the cards there is nothing they can do. You have to read the table with the minimum and maximum bets before you play Poker. You can find this table next to the dealer. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. To stay into the game you have to make a bet equal to the highest bet made by one of the players. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. If you have good cards you can hold all of them, if you have bad cards you can throw away all of them as well. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner.
